Subtly spiced and sweet, a must-have in your flu season arsenal
SweetLand ElderBABY Syrup is handcrafted in small batches with organic ingredients (elderberries, cloves, ginger, Ceylon cinnamon, cardamom, lemon juice and distilled water) and instead of using Honey we substituted with Wisconsin Pure Maple Syrup right from my nieces syrup farm in Merrill Wisconsin. Slow simmered and subtly spiced, babies dabbling in table foods are able to take this syrup.
Elderberries have been used for centuries and were mentioned in Ancient Greek texts, found at Native American archaeological sites and commonly used in the US before the advent of antibiotics. Elderberries come from the elder plant and its flowers are also commonly used in herbal medicine as an immune support tool. There are 10 peer to peer reviewed studies demonstrating that elderberries can prevent the flu virus from replicating in cells, combat infectious bronchitis and aid travelers who take elderberry products before and after international trips. There are many types of elderberry plants, but the two most commonly used are Sambucus Nigra and Sambucus Canadensis. Both varities are used in SweetLand Elderberry Syrup. In fact, the Sambucus Canadensis berries are grown by berry farmers throughout the Midwest. Many times I will forage the country side and pick my own elderberries for SweetLand Syrup. Now that is super local !!
Since SweetLand Elderberry syrup has no artificial preservatives or additives, it must be refrigerated. Each batch of syrup is made with a generous amount of pure maple syrup and lemon juice, which is a natural preservative, which will help keep your Elderberry Syrup ready and waiting for you when you need it the most.
There is approximately 32-36 baby servings if using a half a tbs. = to 7 cc or 7 ml. Recommended 3 x a week. Increase to 4-6 x a week during the flu season, going back to daycare, school, spending time with others they normally would not be around or when baby seems to be getting sick or not feeling well.
* Blend of two types of elderberries (Sambucus Nigra and Sambucus Canadensis) used in every batch for even greater immune support. I press cooked berries for added nutrients to syrup.
* Produced in a commercial kitchen fully licensed and inspected by the state of Wisconsin.
* Sweetened with raw, SE Wisconsin honey. Keeping honey in raw form preserves valuable nutrients, enzymes and its anti-viral/anti-fungal properties. Honey is added only after syrup cools.
* Supports Midwestern berry farmers and beekeepers, providing additional revenue streams for family farms and rural areas.
* No artificial preservatives, flavors or colors. No fillers. (Must be refrigerated.)
* No plastics used in the production process.

Hi there! I’m Kristine; a mom, wife, grandma and nurse who is a strong believer in the amazing healthful properties of elderberries. A friend introduced me to the syrup who thought it would help with my asthma symptoms along with building my immunity. I started taking it several days a week and quickly saw the benefits! I now handcraft and brew this wonderful nutrient-packed syrup in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Knowing who you’re buying from and where your food comes from is a powerful thing! When you buy SweetLand Elderberry Syrup, you are not only boosting your family’s immunity, but you’re bringing health and vitality to Midwestern farmers and SE Wisconsin beekeepers and businesses. That’s something to feel good about!
